I, Tinie Bezuidenhout of Tinie Bezuidenhout and Associates, being the authorised agent of the owner of Portion 1 and the Remaining Extent of Erf 793 Melville hereby give notice in terms of section 56(1 )(b)(i) of the Town-planning and Townships Ordinance, 1986 read with the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act 2013 (Act 16 of 2013), that I have applied to the City of Johannesburg for the amendment of the Town Planning Scheme known as Johannesburg Town Planning Scheme, 1979, by the rezoning of the aforementioned properties, situated at 28A Third Street and 28 Third street, Melville respectively from “Residential 1” to “Residential 1” permitting a guest house, subject to conditions.

Particulars of the application will lie for inspection during normal office hours for a period of 28 days from 6 April 2016 at The office of the Executive Director: Development Planning Transportation and Environment, Metro Centre, Room 8100, 8th Floor, A Block 158 Loveday Street, Braamfontein.
