Objection erf 1/945 Melville 32 Main RD
Dear Melville Community,
As many of you have been aware and laid significant complaints to, there has been extensive illegal building work at 32 Main Rd for some months.
Despite a stop work order, penalty rates and now a referral to the city’s legal department, the owner has applied for rezoning from Residential 1 with consent to Business 1 for a wheel alignment centre and car mechanic workshop.
Unfortunately, they have not advertised this rezoning properly so we have a very short window to object. Though we will argue that this makes the application non-compliant and should be dismissed, if you wish to, you still have to actively object before the deadline. DEADLINE WEDNESDAY 21 SEPTEMBER.
We have attached the applicant’s memo for your reference and some key objection points that you may want to include or use as a template for objecting.
