We have received notice from the Gauteng Liquor Board regarding a hearing for Stones Melville on the 2nd of June 2016 as per Section 23 of the liquor act, no 2 of 2003.
Application GAU/100880C refers:
- To allow Stones Melville to respond to the issues raised at the hearing held on the 18th & 19th November 2015.
- To answer allegations that Stones Melville is contravening the provisions of the Liquor Act and the Regulations in that the premises are operated until 04:00 instead of 02:00.
- The premises are operated as a Night Club in clear contravention of the type of licence issued by the board.
- Noise proliferation or nuisance.
The GLB is asking that all the objectors attend the meeting of the board on:

Where: 124 Main Street, Department of Economic Development, 10th Floor, FT5 Boardroom
NOTE:
- It is compulsory for objectors to appear in person. If you are unable to appear in person you may appoint an advocate, attorney or any other to appear on your behalf.
- It is an offence not to be present and to remain in attendance, without you having appointed somebody to appear on your behalf
- The chairperson may require from you to give evidence or to produce any document or any other thing which is in your possession or custody or under your control.
