We have received notice from the Gauteng Liquor Board regarding a hearing for Stones Melville on the 2nd of June 2016 as per Section 23 of the liquor act, no 2 of 2003.

Application GAU/100880C refers:

  • To allow Stones Melville to respond to the issues raised at the hearing held on the 18th & 19th November 2015.
  • To answer allegations that Stones Melville is contravening the provisions of the Liquor Act and the Regulations in that the premises are operated until 04:00 instead of 02:00.
  • The premises are operated as a Night Club in clear contravention of the type of licence issued by the board.
  • Noise proliferation or nuisance.

 

The GLB is asking that all the objectors attend the meeting of the board on:

Date: 02 June 2016 @ 10:00

Where: 124 Main Street, Department of Economic Development, 10th Floor, FT5 Boardroom

 

NOTE:

  1. It is compulsory for objectors to appear in person. If you are unable to appear in person you may appoint an advocate, attorney or any other to appear on your behalf.
  2. It is an offence not to be present and to remain in attendance, without you having appointed somebody to appear on your behalf
  3. The chairperson may require from you to give evidence or to produce any document or any other thing which is in your possession or custody or under your control.
